Drag, Lab Shack, B-72's Pics

A lot of times i forget to post pictures i've taken for this blog.

These are some:

I had come back from a vacation or something earlier in the year and i realized that there was a man standing outside a building looking directly in through a window.

I thought it was entirely creepy and sort've watched him from afar.

Until i had to keep walking back to my building and realized that someone had one sick sense of humor.

It was a mannequin, with a rifle slung over his shoulder, no less.

What our version of 'museum security' is, i suppose ;p

And to a more recent work-related set of pictures, some i took in our fantastic lab in Jahra.

Look people!

Freakin' STORAGE SPACE!

Such a fantastic work space that we can use.

So great, in fact, that they are keeping it for us to use indefinitely.

And for once, i am being honest and not in the least bit smart-assy.

Shelving units that hold all of the previous seasons of digging in the desert.

Mostly, you might notice, a lot of bones.

Apparently our ancestors just loved meat over a fire.

And no, i don't know why they don't have covers.

Thankfully, unlike the bones i've worked on before, these ones don't stink from a mile away.

And finally, this is like freaking gold, man!

I don't know who they stole/coerced/got in for me, but it suddenly magically appeared.

The crystals are melted in Acetone to produce everything from consolidents for the chemists to use on bones to consolidents i can use on artifacts.

Also, i'm trying to figure out exactly how to use it as a base for my numbering (instead of nail polish!)

And that's that, bubbas.
Until then,
:D
