Work has been so supercalifragilisticexpialidocious that i'm beginning to think of it as Love in the shape of a J-o-b.
Done with the J and the things that go alongside it.
The excavations were so fantastically surprising in discoveries that i'm surprised it's not all over the news and such.

Or, you know, secrecy.....
A Greek conservator has a contract with the KNM to restore an Icaros-Inscription that was from a decades-old excavation.
Yours truly was on hand before her Haj vacay to help out & learn.
There's nothing like being in a stuffy room with hundreds of pieces to clean with no escape from the headache and eye-burn that comes from Acetone.
And a smoker...
There's also nothing like using a scalpel and almost passing out when it sliced a co-workers' finger.. A77.
The Japanese team is supposed to come in mid-January inshallah, which means that i have until then to enjoy my 30 government-sanctioned days of Haj Vacation.

In more important news, 7aj travels commence tomorrow inshallah, and i am positively beyond in everything that has to do with it. Wish me luck, heathens.
I suppose i shall see you when all is settled and there is love in the air and God smiles and all goes beautifully well.

Thats why I've subscribed to your feed. To get the insider-news on KNM before it falls into obscurity.
Its funny cause you'd think that, typically, Institutions and museums seeks the public attention, but here we struggle for a glimpse of their findings!! Please, do tell us ..
