Burned Base

I should mention that the first pic is how i left it, frustrated.
The second pic is what i got it as, and tried to see just how much water will remove the first layer of the dirt and dust.

So this here is a base from a coloumn in a temple in Failicha.

The Iraqi soldiers burned it so badly that layers upon layers upon even more layers of this limestone got turned almost coal-like and black. Bastards.

The limestone was originally from Persopolis, it said.

Which makes me want to cry because i remembered the book that reminded me of Kuwait's political situation.
