The Administration is Taking Away My Conservation

After what seems like months and years, some actual conservation info:

Every few days Bu A7med (who has been retired for months but is still the go-to guy) asks me when i'm going to work on the artifacts that he's arranged for me in the warsha.
The other day i finally semi-whined and went:
'بو احمد صدقني ابي اشتغل على الفخاريات بس شسوي الادارة اممسكتني شغل ثاني و طالبيني لدورة ثانية و قاعدة اخلص تقارير اللجنة..!" and then it hit me, i've become an official government drone.

Gone are the days with me and my mp3 player alone for hours just sticking pieces together, numbering, jabbing my own fingers, etc. Damnit! I just remembered from writing the previous sentence that i have failed to buy the necessary ink and writing supplies! Arrrrgh

And so, my dear friends, my desk is a mess with 'kutub rasmiya', my tabs in my browser are on Google Translate, and i just can't seem to finish this administrative work!

ps: dear parents. i don't care if you talk to your kid in English, just make sure that the sucker knows how to read and write in classical Arabic. Trust me, you don't want them sitting in a government job 20 years down the line, having her taqreer returned because she referred to the elevator as 'a9an9air' instead of 'ma93ad' and the shelving units as 'kabataat' instead of 'khazaa'in'. Basically, you don't want them sticking a post-it on their face that reads FML and post it to Twitter.

Aaaah, life.
Such amazingness...
