Recap + Database Entry Girls
So-
Lots and lots.
But mostly Lots.
Allow me to explain, yes?
I'm currently numbering shards from over 150 bags.
20 pieces a bag and you'll know why i've been away.
I'm also in charge of, and de facto ruler over, the massive museum-wide database system that, after a year and more, has been approved.
It is now installed right before my eyes and i have been in charge of my minions.
And finally, my name has been approved by the national council to go to Sharjah with another colleague of mine (one i thankfully don't find embarrassing). And on top of that, i have been invited by the same international body to take part of a meeting they're having.
So,
as you can see,
it's damn busy.
But for the reason i came on here:
I requested names from each department to provide me with people who will work as database entry people. After weeding out the computer illiterates and the bad apples with the director (he is all knowing), i have a list of names.
Calling these people to introduce myself and inform them of training etc has been a hilarious experience.
I've never met these people, i have no idea what they look like, and i don't recognize their family names (i like stereotyping first).
And let me just say, i almost burst out laughing when one of them spoke with an Irani accent, i almost got ashamed when one of them spoke like a beautiful courtesan (ilsanha inaqi6 3asal mashallah- isloob moo 6abee3i), and felt like a telemarketer when one of them was MIA and i had to call a few places first.
Let me just say this-
they know of me, obviously. From afar.
I'm the only non-stop, non-muhajjaba, jack of all trades, non-idara, non-breakfast-club, non-qisim-bound lady up in this joint.
And now i will know of them.
Hopefully by their real names, and not, as i've already made up my mind, 'irani', '3asal', 'hag', and 'dozy'.
Let us rejoice,
For the time has come that i get official minions at work.
:D
