We lived in Amman at the time they were putting electricity in Jerash. The law was that you were not allowed to dig for anything, but if you found something on the surface, you could have it. My husband got up early and followed the line diggers as they dug to put in the underground lines, and found some lovely treasures.

i mean, i havn't SEEN it, but it's only b/c i didn't go yet. lol
jerash is like, spectacular.
There is another desert castle, Kerana, I think it is called. It always looked to me like a great place for a party, beautiful spaces.
