Staples, Art or Function?

In the aesthetic world, where beauty takes precedence over form, staplers have come under increasing pressure to change their old, tired ways.

Now, in an unprecedented move, staples have formed joined together to make a statement. This band of brothers, who have historically been mended to the whims of staplers, have united as strong as steel to their cause.

The reason for this rebellion? The all-too-common scenario of discarding staples that just 'don't fit the mould'. Uneven staples, staples that havn't quite clasped at the back, and staples that have been tossed aside for the mightier Paperclip have begun a movement of humanizing and making staples more relavent in the everyday world.

'you deal with staples everyday', says Rexel, the staple spokesperson, 'why can't you respect them for their function AND their beauty'?

With the world too bland these days, Rexel argues, staples have to announce themselves to the world. 'It's almost like our coming out party', he notes.

And so, if you use your stapler and get staples that are a little too liberal in their function and expression, ask yourself if you'd want to be discarded for being yourself.
