Upgrade!

So i've spent all morning looking at internships in Archeology all over the world.

I figured, hey, if the whole my going to Tunis in August wasn't going to go through, i might as well go someplace equally amazing.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
May i present to you:
The Smithsonian Institute In Washington, Effing, D.C.

I have NO IDEA why i never thought of it before,
it's almost like finally realizing that the wall infront of you is white.
thtupid.

In typical fashion,
the deadline for the Fall internships is today.
lol.
i love my luck.

I've frantically sent out emails to 'advisors', who would take you in. While it's easy to look up what's going on, i feel like every good beauracracy has to mess something up at some point.

The mighty Smithsonian Institute is no exception.
The application process feels deceptively easy, until you read the fine print, ofcourse.
And until you realize that we're talking about internships offered at over one hundred institutions, and that each one has a different process (for specific subjects).

So,
ofcourse,
i panic,
curse,
huff,
puff,
and hate the fact that i have a dial-up connection.

But i've copy/pasted everything into my email,
and will race home to the sweet comfort of DSL.

Will update later :D
