The Lizard That Holds Up the Ceiling..

An insightful woman answered me last week,
when i shared my epiphany of not really being academically-minded or research-driven any more,
and secretly being enticed by money and responsibility and glory and going back to my entrepreneurial roots,
that,
"maybe you've filled up your quota of doing a job that gives back".

And just like that,
i'm thinking of quitting.

..
....
......

But i can't.
(yet.)

EXACTLY what i'm going through. And was so close to quitting. Said wait until after summer, but meanwhile find a job. Then a fantastic co-worker strolled in... and has inspired me all over again... Wishing it upon you!

P,
i do appreciate very much your optimism.

But i'm afraid the chances of a co-worker inspiring me are about as slim a chance as the KNM actually bothering to FIND people who WANT to work here, and not just getting the filtered waste that comes in via the National Council and the Civil Service Commission...

Oh well...
at least it's giving me something to do.....
