Inappropriately Funny

So i literally woke up this morning thinking, "wow, it's really cold in here", which was followed by, "wow, i'm really hungry!"

The only thing that got me out of bed was the thought of doing conservation work (i know, dorky), and the thought of popping in that new mp3 cd i made (i know, dorkier).

Fast forward half an hour or so,
with me in Fahaheel Expressway,
jamming to my new-found realization that AbuBaker in a 7afla produces so much more hip-shaking than Shakira does.

When 'law khayarooni' gave way to Fadhil Shaker & Yara dueting, i not only cursed becuase hard-core samra music gave way to Lebanese love songs, but becuase everyone in front of me started skidding and braking.

And of course, just when i thought 'thank god', i got slammed into.

*sigh*

The cars in front of me started to suddenly brake, so i started to suddenly break, the asshole behind me in his Range swerves to the left emergency lane.

All is well. I didn't hit anyone, and Range Rover had the common sense to not hit me, even though he was thisclose.

Loud skidding resulted in a big BANG! behind me, which resulted in me getting banged (which would totally be funny had it not been so jarring).

I really need to stop getting hit from behind (oh, lol. *rolls eyes*).
But it was my first time in Kuwait (*muffles it in*), and so it was a new experience in that respect.

Do you have any idea how fast people go on the highway? I had to force myself to not look in the side mirror and see the cars zooming by.
It totally terrified me.

The police, thankfully, took about as long as it took me to get my paperwork and a pen and paper ready.

All went well, considering i didn't hit anyone and therefore i have no faults (yay!). Too bad for the other two cars, becuase it really was some freak accident that could have been avoided.

Dudes, the two-second rule. At least have a lamp post or something as an indicator of how fast you were tailgating.

*sigh*

I have to go to the police station at 3.

I'm not driving.

Be safe, yeah?

-me.

ps: i'm considered late to work, which sucks!

i was actually the only one that said 'kha6akum il su'u' to the other drivers. they were either too busy on the phone or too busy smoking ;/
