Translating Fujaira

Hello, pumpkins.

The translation is going horribly. It's taking like, so much more time and effort than i expected. And whereas i have all the time in the world, i seldom have the effort. Becuase 'effort' is to 'F Firt', and i don't want that to happen (unless you're hawt).
only like, four people who know me IRL will get that, so don't fret over my inside joke, and your inability to provide me with burgers right now.
(wait, what?!)

Psh.

Anywho, i found out yesterday when i went to submit my vacation (OCT22-NOV15) that on the 20th of Nov-5th of Dec, i've been nominated to accompany some chick that's been here forever with the cataloging department to go to Fujaira, UAE. We'd be presenting a showcase of Kuwaiti artifacts, and it would be in comparison to what other GCC countries have.
Ba7rain would be our like, closest compition to oldest and most precious items. But everyone else has so much more.

There's actually a pretty interesting magazine, 'Athar Wa Matahif' that is published bi yearly from GCC countries. It's basically a compilation of whatever anyone's found and what they've been doing. I've only seen the Dec 2005 copy, but it's super interesting (too bad Kuwait has the least pages-2). It's published in Saudi, and i think you can get it from the National Council for Culture & Arts & Letters (stupid sounding, i know). Their number is 2416006.

Ok, i think that's it for now. I have some 'translation' to do, and it won't get done by itself. omg, wait. what if i use a like, a translating service at one of those jam3iyaat?!
*thinks*

And, in final news, remember this from my Rambalicious post?:

(I used to listen to LuxuriaMusic
before, at another place. Looking out at the Kuwaiti skyline from the AlRaya
building’s 28th floor while listening to Latin Jazz is trippy).

Yeah, well, they commented with a 'we're still around', which i thought was super duper cool beans. (mmm... coffee.....) And so i thought i'd be a super duper cool pinto bean and mention them again, becuase they really are super duper cool. (and no, i'm not getting paid. i mean, i should, but i'm not. such is my life. :p)

Ok.

That's it for now.

Until then :D
